Abner the Cat needs a home

Abner is sweet, energetic and playful. He is happiest being an only cat, or maybe with one other submissive cat. He does like dogs, though. Born in 2009, Abner came from a humane society in Kansas. He has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). He also takes daily medication for back pain. The medication keeps his pain under control, and he takes his meds like a trooper. He's hoping to find a home where he can get lots of human attention.Abner is part of our Single Pets* program! That means that he is eligible for a free flight home and waived adoption fee!*Single pets do best as the only dog or cat in the home.
